Dr. Jean Sanders grew up in western Kansas and earned her D.D.S. degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Since graduating, she practiced in Chicago and the Dallas area, both in the private practice setting as well as in the public health setting. Dr. Sanders enjoys providing all types of dental services to the entire family. She offers nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and sedation for patients who are nervous or worried during dental procedures. Her goal as a dentist is to provide everyone with maximum aesthetics and comfort in every dental procedure. Dr. Sanders hobbies are gardening, healthy cooking and spending time with her family. She lives in the Dallas area with her family and is very excited to be working in Frisco with the wonderful team at Dental Arts of Frisco.

Originally from Kansas, Dr. Jay brings a calm, laidback demeanor to the dental chair—an approach that helps even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Known for treating every patient like a member of the family, Dr. Jay builds trust through kindness, clear communication, and truly personalized care.
Dr. Jay earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and is passionate about providing comprehensive care tailored to each individual. To further enhance his clinical skills, he completed advanced training in general dentistry at Wichita State University, where he had the opportunity to train alongside some of the region’s top dental specialists. This advanced education solidified Dr. Jay’s commitment to high-quality care and staying current with the latest techniques and technology in the field.
Dr. Jay chose dentistry because of a love for working with his hands and the fulfillment that comes from helping patients—whether it’s relieving pain, restoring function, or transforming smiles. He values the interpersonal side of dentistry just as much, and genuinely enjoys getting to know patients and building long-term relationships. For Dr.Jay, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is witnessing the confidence thatcomes when someone sees their new smile for the first time.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jay enjoys cooking a variety of cuisines, watching movies, exploring different walking trails, and spending quality time with friends and family. Dr. Jay is excited to join the team at Dental Arts of Frisco and looks forward to serving the community with skill, integrity, and a gentle touch.

Dr. Nathan Cotton, DDS, MS
Dr. Nathan Cotton brings over 25 years of experience in dentistry to both Paloma Creek Dental and Dental Arts of Frisco. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University and the Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Cotton has built his career around providing exceptional care with a focus on complex cases and early orthodontic treatment.
Known for his attention to detail and patient-centered approach, Dr. Cotton is dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles through advanced techniques and personalized treatment plans.
Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active through mountain biking and cycling, passions that reflect his energy and commitment both personally and professionally.

Dentist
David Roberts, DDS
Dr. Roberts’s practice is primarily focused on extracting wisdom teeth and on placing dental implants—both done safely and comfortably using IV (moderate) sedation. During the course of his career, he has treated over 30,000 patients.
Dr. Roberts received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1985. He then spent two years in a dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
Dr. Roberts has been practicing dentistry in Dallas since 1987 and received the “Young Dentist of the Year” award in 1990 from the Dallas County Dental Society (DCDS). He also served on the DCDS board of directors from 1992-1996 and as president of the North Texas Dental Society in 2005-2006. Currently, he is a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry (FAAHD).
Additionally, Dr. Roberts served for over a decade as an adjunct assistant professor at the UTHSCSA, and he lectures nationally in the areas of dental surgery and IV sedation. Throughout his career, he has actively advocated for improvements in both dental safety and access to care in numerous venues. He also co-founded the Koerner Center for Surgical Instruction, which provides continuing education training courses in oral surgery to dentists across the country.

Tara Arya, RDH
Tara earned her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland and has been proudly serving patients for over 27 years. With decades of experience, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health in a supportive, comfortable environment.
As a hygienist, she is known for her warm and approachable nature. Patients appreciate her commitment to creating a judgment-free zone where they feel encouraged, informed, and cared for every step of the way. She takes time to ensure patients fully understand their treatment and home care, empowering them to take charge of their oral health with confidence.
What she loves most about being a hygienist is building trusting relationships with her patients and supporting them in reaching their healthiest smiles.
Outside the office, Tara enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and is an avid reader.

Kellie brings over 16 years of experience in dental office leadership to our team. Throughout her career, she has served as an AR team director, and credit manager, showcasing her versatility and dedication to helping practices thrive. Kellie constantly has a commitment to excellence.
As our office leader, Kellie supports patients with all aspects of their dental experience—from answering questions and resolving concerns to assisting with scheduling and financial needs. She loves helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles and believes in treating everyone like family.
Kellie’s personal philosophy is to “treat others how I want to be treated,” a value that shapes the warm, welcoming environment she creates every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and volunteers at the local high school.
